Summer music – perfect pieces for a summer wedding

So this summer might be coming to an end but we’re already getting very booked up for summer 2016 so I thought I’d give some summer repertoire inspiration for anyone planning their music for next year!

This year’s big hit with the Apollo Strings Quartet has been ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams. It’s such an upbeat, summery song and it works perfectly for the recessional music or just as one of the many pieces played during your drinks reception. A few other hot favourites this summer have been Signed, Sealed, Delivered by Stevie Wonder, All of Me by John Legend and Brandenburg concerto no.3 by Bach.

All of the above work perfectly for any season to be honest but these have been the favourites this Summer so I wonder whether they’ll be returning next year?

As always at Apollo Strings we’re watching the chart toppers and hunting for arrangements to keep our repertoire list as current and varied as possible but if there’s a song you’re after that doesn’t feature on our repertoire list do let us know. We will then scour the internet to try and find an arrangement for you or if needs be we can look into the possibility of arranging the piece especially for you!
